Eni S.p.A. (Italian pronunciation: [ˈɛːni]) is an Italian multinational energy company headquartered in Rome. It is considered one of the "supermajor" oil companies in the world. The name "ENI" was initially the acronym of "Ente Nazionale Idrocarburi" (National Hydrocarbons Board).
